ÖZET
Bu araştınna üniversitelerimizin Eğitim Fak:ültelerinin yeniden yapılanması ile ilişkili olarak açılan okulöncesi Öğretmenliği ana bilim dalına devam eden öğrencilerin kişisel bilgileri ile Öğretmenlik mesleğini seçmelerini etkileyen faktÖrler incclenerek, bu meslek grubn öğretmenlerinin profilini ortaya çıkannak amacıyla planlanmıştır. Araştırmanın Örneklemini; sekiz üniversiteden toplam 821 Öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Örnekleme alınan öğ- rencilere; "Kişiscl bilgilerden oluşan bir anket formu" uygulanmıştır. Bu makalede öğrencilerin kişisel bilgileri, aile bilgileri ve üniversite tercihlerine ait bilgileri sunulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler uygun istatistiksel yÖntemlerle değerlendirilmiştir. Okulöncesi öğretmenliği bÖlÜmÜ, araştııma örneklemini oluşturan öğrencilerin bÜ- yÜk bir çoğunluğunun, ilk beş tercihi içinde yer almıştır ve araştırma sonuçları öğrencilerin bölÜmle ilgili olumlu duygu ve düşünccler içinde olduklarmı göstermiştir

ABSTRACT
This study evaluate students personel knowledge and their true assesment of teaching occupatıon views, who are stili attending the courses in pre-school teaching main science branch which was establihed on the basis of re-construction of training faculties.This study helps to figure out the general profiles of theachers within this occupatıon field 821 teacher candidates, who are modcls for this studyare chosen from eight different universities. A poll fonu which includes personal information and teaching occupation are applied to these teacher candidate model s the datums that are gained at the end of the study were evaluated by statistic methods. The department of preschool teaching was among the first five chocies of most of the students comparsing the sample of the research and the results of the study demonstrated that students have positive fcclings and opinions related with their department
